God is an awesome God
I think about my early years; the times when I felt that I knew all there was about God
I knew nothing about the power of His Holy Spirit. I did not know that it is given to those who asked for it
I did not know that there are levels in God that only we as individuals can climb. I learned that the climb
starts with seek! God said seek Him while he maybe found. Well, I found His and I am not letting go
Truly He is the best thing that has ever happened to me and I LOVE HIM. In my continual seek which
leads to growth and revelation I have grown in my faith-walk. I pray for hunger and thirst when it comes to
to studying His word and spending time in prayer. I've come to know that I can walk in prayer daily
Always having Him at the fore-front of my mind. God is an awesome God, I learn this everyday because I
now know that I could never know all there is to know about God, but I can know as much as I seek to know

Get Your Praise On
Praise is a powerful weapon! The bible says that God inhabits the praises of His people...did you hear that? God literal comes down amongst us
when we praise Him with our hearts open to Him. Lets take a moment and reflect on some situations we encounter in life. When you are
going through financial crisis of which you did not bring upon yourself or maybe you did. Through prayer, repentance and praise you can get your
breakthrough. God said " where there are two or three gathered together in His name He would be in the midst! These are awesome tools that
can move us into a realm of expectancy and thereby manifestation. Remember the next time you are faced with a situation, breakout into a praise
or touch and agree with a believer and watch God move.

Is Your Church A Business, Disguised As A Church
Often times we see the many churches on every corner and wonder “Is this the church I should join?” Being a part of a church is the in thing now, however, one would want to make sure that the spirit of God rest, rule, and abide in the church they decide to join.
Is your church more into programs or raising money? If so, this may be for good reason. However, if you find that your church is more active in raising money; than winning souls, a red flag should go up.
Now, don’t get me wrong, I understand that many church members may not give tithes or offerings on a regular basis, therefore, churches have to work along with praying to cover the cost of running their ministries.
One might say, “Who are these churches trusting, God or the people?”
Would God allow a church that is truly ministering to the needs of His people to go under because of lack of funds? I don’t believe he will.
This thought provoking message is one that can be viewed in many ways. Will God deal with the hearts of the people who does not support the Gospel being preached, you bet he will?
Is your church a business disguised as a church or a soul winning sanctuary? You would have to be the one to answer that question. Pray and ask God to reveal to you what the truth of the matter is. Talk to your Pastor to see what the mission of your church is and watch as well as pray.
If you find that your church is actively involved in ministering to the needs of God’s people, support your ministry financially and physically. As Daniel prayed, he said “God does not need us we in fact, need God.

Making Decisions Without God Is Accepting Less Than God’s Best
Many of us lack the understanding and wisdom of God; we have a natural desire to be happy, however, we are often ignorant to God’s plan of happiness and joy for our lives.
We seek and find alternatives to God’s plan for our lives based upon what the flesh desires, thus taking less than the best. Happiness without God is simply empty happiness or shall I say temporary happiness, a mistake.
God created us and knows all of his children, even the number of hairs on our very head. Jeremiah 29:11 said that Gods knows the thoughts that he has for us, plans to prosper us and to give us an expected end.
If you chose to make your own decisions you are in fact making a statement to God that you know better than he does, that you know yourself better than He does. Tell me, what are the numbers of hairs on your head?
Emotions are very dangerous as they can partner with ones members, the 5 senses creating a path for ungodly desires. What you see, what you hear, what you feel, what you smell, what you taste can have a strong influence over your life. Even our very heart and emotions can lead us to disobey God.
Yes, the very heart, mind and emotions that operate on your human behalf can lead you to eternal death, sadness or to a life of grief and turmoil. If you operate or live in the flesh, this is your destiny. The bible which is the word of God commands us to walk, meaning live according to the Holy Spirit, why? Because the Holy Spirit is at work with God, the Holy Spirit is holy, the Holy Spirit is righteous and can not lead you to eternal death.
You may ask, how do I do this? You do this by first understanding who God is and His Son Jesus who died for your sins, giving you the opportunity to come back to God. If you confess with your mouth (speak it) the Lord Jesus and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead thou shall be saved. Romans 10:9
You then seek to find out how to be victorious in your new life as a believer, knowing that old things have passed away, behold you are a new creature. You actions basically need to match what you confess to believing. You then ask God for the Holy Ghost that he may come into your life to empower you to walk in the Spirit. You read God’s word daily to develop a personal relationship with Him, learn of Him. You can not serve that which you do not know, you can not obey that which you do not know, and so studying God’s word is for your benefit, it is your spiritual food, weapon, and it is God.
Pray always for the desire to want to continually seek Him, and repent from your heart when you miss the mark, fall short and do not perform that sin again…..Go and sin no more. Ask the Holy Spirit to lead and guide you in all that God has for you, deny your flesh when it attempt to lead you into sinning against God. You can be victorious in your walk if you so desire to be.

Shout it from the mountain top
I am sure you have heard many Christians say, that if you just live the life, non-believers will come in. This is not always effective, however, one way of witnessing. Did Paul just live the life, did the apostle just live the life, did Jesus just live the life? Even the illumination of light goes out into the darkness, and the salt must be tasted. Jesus himself said to go into all the world and preach the gospel!
We are commanded to do more in relations to witnessing and God is expecting us to share the good news of Jesus Christ with non-believers. If you are relying on just living the life (which translates into saving yourself), how will one know whether you are simply a good person according to this world vs a believer? The bible tells us that faith without works is dead, lets stop here for a moment.
Simply put, If you believe, you will do that which you believe, starting with obedience to God's word and then moving on to witnessing and building the kingdom of God which is not of this world, but the world to come. What recruiter do you know, just sits in one place waiting for individuals to look at him or her and think to themselves, I like that army suit, and the way he stands, I want to join the army, that school or company. There must be a transfer of information, an ad on the monster board, or an ad in the paper, a word witnessed (experienced/testimony shared). We must realize, we were not saved only for ourselves, but also for those who are still lost in their sin.
I understand that this is a process; the disciples were involved in a discipleship program taught by the best -Jesus- and then on, equip with power from on high before they went out. We must follow the same steps, you cannot share that which you do not know, however, as you learn, you should share with others when the opportunities are presented or able to invite them to a bible teaching ministry that they may receive the promise, the teaching, knowledge that they may go forth and witness.....for the harvest is ripe, but the labors are few.
In closing, we, yes are commanded to live the life, and along with it, to bring in the harvest of lost souls that awaits us, for the profiting (building) of the Kingdom of God..... www.Thegospelguide.org Forward this to someone today!
